Distorção Geométrica (geometric distortion) is an interactive sound installation that was developed for the old water reservatoir of Aveiro. This building, with its spiral staircase and particular acoustic behavior, allowed the placement of a set of metallic resonant discs and plates distributed throughout the space, in order to create an endless set of spectral combinations that emerge when they are set in vibration.
